The All Bodo Students Union (ABSU) was founded on the 15th Febuary, 1967
at Kokrajhar Tribal Rest House with a view of comprising all the students of the Bodo Groups of the world
and working for the causes enshrined in the aims and objectives of the Union’s Constitution.

Preamble
We, the All Bodo Students, with purity of heart, solemnly resolve to unite the students of various Bodo groups living in different parts of the world into an organisation for better and mutual understanding among ourselves to safeguard and develop the socio-economy, culture, tradition, language and literature of the great Bodo nationality and this organisation be known the ALL BODO STUDENT UNION (ABSU) and on the expediency of guiding rules, the organisation, do hereby adopt, enact and give to ourselves this written constitution on this day of 2nd March, 1969.

The constitution of All Bodo Student Union, which is guiding philosophy for the Bodo Students through the formation in ABSU and since adoption of the constitution in 1969. Ever Since the last Eight Amendment and being reprinted during that time in 2005 the number of copies are come to an end for circulation amongst the members and offices of the ABSU.
